Stunningly beautiful venue, excellent location next to restaurants, bars and tourist spots, close to many great restaurants and many downtown locations via uber, truly enjoyed our stay. The service was great, including a fast check-in.

The bed was comfortable and made for a restful night, though the room felt a bit dark due to a malfunctioning window screen. Temperature control was tricky, requiring frequent adjustments. The lack of exhaust fan made the bathroom feel stuffy. Cleaning service was inconsistent; dirty towels were left behind, and supplies were not replenished. Breakfast options were limited and not available early enough for my schedule. The rooftop bar provided a nice atmosphere and easy access to nearby nightlife. the lobby's aggressive sales tactics detracted from the experience.

Staff members were friendly and attentive, especially the parking attendant who assisted us. our adjoining room experience was frustrating; late-night noise from rowdy guests disrupted sleep, and the lack of follow-up from the front desk was disappointing. Maintenance issues with the AC and inadequate maid service added to the challenges. Ultimately, great potential marred by a few frustrating details that need addressing for a smoother stay.

A good location but mixed experiences

The Hyatt Place Charleston boasts a great location near attractions. the heated pool fell short, and breakfast left much to be desired. While some staff were friendly, others were unhelpful. it was a memorable stay, but improvements are needed in service and amenities.

The location is fantastic, surrounded by numerous dining and entertainment options, making it easy to explore the area. The room was spacious and comfortable, perfectly accommodating my family during our stay. the breakfast offered was quite satisfying, setting a pleasant tone for the day ahead. the parking situation was a significant downside, as it lacks proper on-site options, and we encountered disorganized valet staff which added unnecessary stress. This hotel is great for families looking to enjoy the local culture, but they should be prepared to navigate these parking challenges.

Fantastic stay with a perfect location!

We spent 6 nights in the spacious Queen Room with Two Queen Beds and Sofa Bed. The breakfast exceeded our expectations and the location was pleasantly quiet, away from bar noise. A tip: check the AC upon check-in to avoid potential issues. a very enjoyable stay!
